Near perfect isolation due to CPA, which is tuned to a firing order, not to a certain frequency like traditional dampers.
Combined TC and damper development capabilities allow us to optimize the TC hydrodynamic performance while allowing space for CPA damper.
Mass reduction by elimination of heavy purchased components (e.g. forged or powder metal hubs) and replacing them with features on stamped components. Besides mass reduction, this also provides a cost benefit which is used to offset some of the additional cost from the CPA.
Elimination of cover drive plate through innovative riveting process further reduces weight and cost as well as provides extra space for the damper / CPA.
