Gen5 Short-Range Corner Radar sensors support functions such as the „Observation Assist”. Environment can be detected within a range of up to 90 meters in a grid of 20 centimeters and an opening angle of +/- 75 degrees.

When turning, dangerous situations for pedestrians and cyclists often can arise. Short range corner radars monitor the traffic to the sides and recognize bike riders or pedestrians even at night and in the blind spot area.
