The Next Generation Wheel Speed Sensor consists of a tight core sensor. The cable is already connected and overmolded. This pre-validated core sensor is the basic element for every application. For adaptation to a customer-specific vehicle only the holder needs to be designed.

This splitted design is made possible by the powerful sensor element. It allows for arbitrary orientation of the sensor in the sensor plane and is more tolerant against varying clearances than ever. Even under electromagnetic disturbances the sensor provides stable and accurate signals. The robust sensor element comes with an integrated GMR sensing technology. MR bridge and ASIC are integrated on a single silicon chip. The Next Generation Wheel Speed Sensor provides an optimized element package for carrier-less processing and improved robustness. It is manufactured in optimized processes.
