When using an AC setup, E-Ducato gives you the opportunity to choose between a wide range of powers: 7 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW. With the quick charge (AC) and 22 kW power, the estimated charging time for 100 km is approximately one hour. When needed, the fast charge (DC) with 50 kW power guarantees 100 km of driving in less than 30 minutes charge.
The heart of GM’s strategy is a modular propulsion system and a highly flexible, third-generation global EV platform powered by proprietary Ultium batteries.
In North America, GM EVs will be powered by rectangular, pouch-style battery packs that are simple, lightweight and space-efficient.
GM’s ability to stack batteries vertically is unique in the industry and it allows for a flat cabin floor and more interior room than comparable EVs that use cylindrical battery packs.
The pack also allows engineers to deliver vehicles with an optimized weight distribution and a lower center of gravity to improve ride and handling.
The plug-in hybrid system of the new BMW X1 xDrive 25e and the new BMW X2 xDrive25e consists of a 1.5 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology and an electric drive specially developed for this model. It is taken from the eDrive technology modular system of the BMW Group. The petrol engine mobilises a peak output of 92 kW/125 hp and a maximum torque of 220 Newton metres. It transfers its power to a 6-speed Steptronic transmission and drives the front wheels. The electric motor generates an output of 70 kW/95 hp and delivers 165 Nm of torque to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission. This makes for a hybrid specific all-wheel drive, which gives both models a unique level of agility in their competitive fields delivering hallmark SAV and SAC driving pleasure. The highly responsive power delivery of the electric motor, which delivers its full torque spontaneously from standstill, enables the driver to react extremely quickly to changing driving conditions. In addition, the position of the electric motor above the rear axle contributes to the harmoniously balanced axle load distribution of the new BMW X1 xDrive25e and the new BMW X2 xDrive25e. In conjunction with the intelligently controlled interaction between the two power units, it provides maximum driving stability, ride comfort and dynamic response.
The updated Audi A5 models (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 5.4–3.7 (43.6–63.6 US mpg); combined CO2emissions in g/km: 143–98 (230.1–157.7 g/mi)) are available in Europe with an output range from 120 kW (163 hp). This includes the S models with their powerful V6 engines. The engines satisfy the limits of the Euro 6d-temp emissions standard.
The technical highlights include a range of 405 kilometres (provisional figures) and the rapid charging of the high-voltage battery from 10 to 80 per cent in less than 45 minutes. Customers can also choose between two different wheel bases.
